Lose > Hesitate!

Welcome to my site! Here you will find a collection of hobbies and interests of a geeky weirdo and all the various ramblings that come from that. I'm a big fan of comics, books, and niche media. You can read more about me and what types of things I like over on my about me section. In an effort to make webmastery more easy and intuitive for myself, I've condensed a lot of my site and nested a lot of the elements I had on full display into different sections (the cluttered look just isn't quite doing it for me at the moment, but it may come back if I find a style of it I like).

As a result, most of what I have collected is now hidden away under the Sitemap link. I kind of think sites like that are more fun, it makes browsing feel like a treasure hunt.

Just like before, however, this site is still intended for mature audiences only. While there is currently no explicit content hosted here, I talk a lot about the media I consume and adult topics may pop up at any moment. That being said, I'm not a cop, and so long as you just lurk on sites like mine and don't actually do anything, no one is stopping you from looking.

◣ What is "Lose > Hesitate"? ◥

It comes from a song by Queens of the Stone Age called: "Go With the Flow". The original lyric goes: "I want a new mistake / Lose is more than hesitate". In the context of the song, the vocalist is merely talking about how having tried and lost a chance with a girl is more valuable than having not tried at all, but I'm applying it to life in general. Having tried and failed at something (or multiple somethings) is more valuable to me than hesitating and never having tried it at all. This can be something as small as trying to bake something new and failing, or shooting for a big shot job and never hearing back. The fact that I tried is more important.

Life is short, and we don't know what tomorrow will bring. Don't hesitate!
