like many other people on the indie web, i made this site because i was frusterated and upset with what modern social media has become. i'm tired of the content i consume being handed to me by algorithms and of how much ragebait there is on the internet nowadays. hurting people by making them consistantly angry and upset just to line the pockets of investors turns my stomach, and i no longer want to be a part of that. through this website, i hope to slowly readjust my brain and attention span back to what it was before social media and phone apps became so hyper-optimized to making our lives miserable.
