New month, we have survived another 31 days, everyone, woohoo~
Feeling incredibly tempted into buying things again. Stuff I rarely ever use, too, like makeup and whatnot. Whenever this happens, I try to force it out of my system by getting rid of all the temptationsm like watching Youtube shorts or looking at shopping sites or even avoiding going into stores in person. I'm traveling soon, though, so I've been in and out of stores for some last minute items. Doing my best not to give in so I have money to spend later on while I'm out.

New method of writing these, all add new ones below instead of on top. I think it'll make it easier to look back on. I went and paid for a haircut for the first time in like 8 months because, like I mentioned before, I'll be travelling and doing things that will be photographed, so I wanted to look nice. Normally, I don't really care if my hair is a mess, but this (potential) new job (fingers crossed) deals with people, whereas my current one doesn't, so I figured it'll probably be good for the job (again, fingers crossed) to look presentable instead of like some... unkept emo.

Back from my week of traveling and drinking. The important part is not where I was but that I GOT THE JOBBBBB THANK FUCK.
What a weight off my shoulders. I feel like I seriously lucked out considering I was only seriously job hunting for about a month and a half, but applying to anything I saw that looked good everyday for weeks was taking the life out of me. I think all in all I applied to about... 130 jobs? And this was the ONLY job that gave me an interview. What a scary number to think of.
Anyway, in less fun news, remember that bag I mentioned buying and being all happy over because it was my first "expensive bag"? Yeah- the shoulder straps are fraying!! What the hell. I noticed at the airport it was leaving little black bits on my arm whenever I used it and it was getting stuck on my sunscreen and it was a whole nasty affair. That teaches me the important lesson of never spending more than $50 on a damn bag LMAO. I'm so annoyed over this, especially because I'm waaay out of the return window. >:[

It's about that time of month where I want to do some housekeeping with my site's layout and change some visual elements. I've been feeling borders as of late, so I might try making some. Or some other... graphical element, as my site doesn't really have that. Save for that gif of my OC, Harra. Isn't she cute? LOL.
I've been doing some shopping for my new job. I've spent the last 6-ish years working in a uniform, so all the clothes I have are branded uniform polos and casual streetwear-like. I had like 0 office-appropriate looks, but now I have at least a couple. I also bought a couple new bras, a new concealer, and a perfume sample set (which I might write a little blog about). The way two bras were SIXTY-FIVE DOLLARS??? AMERICAN??? This is insane. Those influencers that buy like heaps of new bras at once must be in CRAZY debt.
I think I'm set as far as my needs go. All I really need now is a new lunchbox for work, but I think I'm going to guilt trip my father into buying that, LOL. With these new clothes and this new haircut, I feel like a brandnew person, LOL. It's not a bad feeling!!

Hello again :^)
I wasn't able to write a lot this month, as you can clearly see. After I got back from my travels, I had to prepare myself to start this new job I have now, so between buying things and also just... mentally preparing myself to enter a new field, I didn't have a whole lot of free time. Well, I started this job last week! (confetti). I'm... a little overwhelmed right now. Especially right now. I went through so much training last week only to switch to a new location, and I'll be at /this/ facility from here on out, but the fact that I've had a lot of big changes so back to back was really stressing me out. Did I have a tiny meltdown when I got home today? I did. LOL. But hopefully it was a cathartic moment more than a "oh, no, I actually can't do this" moment. The work itself is not terribly difficult, just very different and new to me, so I'm hoping by this time next month I'll be okay. This is just a side-effect of having had the same entry-level job for 6 years... lol. This is also technically still an entry level job, just... with a slightly higher income. :]
